The Cortina represents a bold evolution in frame building, blending a mixed-material approach with Officina Battaglin’s signature oversized lugged construction. The proprietary titanium lugs seamlessly integrate custom-drawn Columbus Hyperion titanium tubes and Italian-forged high-modulus carbon tubes. Rather than subjecting the titanium to the high temperatures of traditional welding, every joint is bonded, creating incredibly strong connections while preserving the material’s natural properties. The result is a frame that delivers both the legendary ride quality of titanium and Battaglin’s lugged construction, with the stiffness of carbon exactly where it’s needed most.
From brushed titanium to cromovelato magic
Each Cortina frame comes standard with a brushed titanium finish that highlights the metal’s natural luster and creates beautiful contrast with the carbon tubes. But if you’re seeking the legendary finish that has made Battaglin frames coveted by collectors worldwide, you’ll be able to custom-finish your Cortina choosing from 13 different cromovelato colors. The first step in creating your custom-painted Cortina is reserving a frame, which will be custom-painted to your exact specifications in our Italian workshop. Once you’ve decided on your favorite color, thanks to our in-house painting production process, your custom Cortina will be ready for delivery in just 4 weeks. Each frameset includes the frame finished in your favorite color, a matching carbon fork, head parts, and front and rear thru-axles.
