My 1984 is built and looks beautiful – we even had the sun shining in Scotland to show the dramatic cromovelato paint.
I did mean to ask about the inspiration for the Chromaveleto palette, as we managed to visit Burano before we left Venice. It was a beautiful village and the colours of the houses looked somewhat familiar? It reminded me of the island of Mull, which is off Scotland’s West Coat. The houses in the Village of Tobermory are also brightly painted.
I’ve only ridden it a KM or so and hope to get out for a longer ride soon – once I get position dialled in I will trim the chimney. Receiving this bike is a dream come true, I just cannot explain how much I love the craftsmanship and the feeling of riding it. You gave me something truly special, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
