First of all I am happy to share my experiences with my Power Plus Disc bicycle.
It has been a few months since I received it and I wanted to have some “saddle time” with the bike to give my impressions.
I have now ridden ~ 750 miles on it. Impressions: I love it!
I too, like others who have had experiences with you, greatly appreciated the personal approach to the sizing and selection of the bike components.
I had wanted a steel-framed bike for a long time and my first introduction to Battaglin Cycles was the article in Bicycling Magazine about the Power Plus.
When the advertisement came for the Power Plus Disc I did not hesitate and put in my registration.
To receive a direct, personal phone call from you regarding the bike made a very positive impression upon me and is a testament to the approach and caring of Battaglin to your bicycles….and a wonderful legacy from your father!
We discussed my riding style and needs and you made recommendations for the build… I was honestly surprised that you confirmed Sram eTap hydraulic was indeed a fine selection, noting that we were fitting Campagnolo Bora One DB 35’s!

The bike has received many, many compliments… (one of the local mechanics calls this the “magazine bike” since these are bikes we can only see in the magazines!… And another cyclist made a U-turn to check it out when I had it mounted on my rack at a recent training ride!).
I will send pictures of the bike when the wildflowers bloom here in Texas…..and it is a struggle to keep this bike looking beautiful and to still ride it often!!
