Here's what our fellow cyclists said about riding the Officina Battaglin custom steel bikes
Back to the testimonials"The Power+ is super silent and super smooth"

“After the first rides on my Power+ Disc, here are my first impressions.
The bike is super silent and super smooth.
It doesn’t feel as fast as my carbon racer, but when I look at the averages, it comes pretty close.
The biggest difference is the stability though.
I think part of it comes from the geometry of the bike, it’s quite long, and part of it from the wider handlebar you suggested.
Most fun is riding out of the saddle, hands in the drops.
Holland is flat as a pancake of course, but on every bridge or dyke I do a little sprint in the drops. Just because it feels great.
I was a little afraid cornering could be an issue because of its length, but it really isn’t. Great how it handles.
It’s my first steel performance bike.
It was really fun to have the discussions with you on the right sizing, and getting the photos of the actual welding of the frame.
Even though I could see ‘16, wilfried’ on the freshly cut chainstay.
Email wasn’t the best way to reach out for you, but when I called you, you had all the time in the world for me.
I think you’re right when you say that a phone call is better then a thousand emails.
As mentioned, I liked your insights on bike size, handlebar width, disc size, tires…
I think the bike looks amazing: colors are great, and the result of the fillet brazing is amazing.
So smooth.
With a SRAM 22 groupset and carbon Across A-wheels (great value for money) I managed to keep the weight just under 8 kilos.
Not bad for a steel bike with disc brakes and 28mm tubeless tires.
I’m pretty sure I will enjoy this bike for thousands of miles. Not sure if I will reach a million though.”

“Dear Alex & Dario, I have received the Power+ EVO safe and sound, and I’ve just finished assembling it. I put on the Ultra WTO 45 with GP5000 continental 25-mm tires, bike computer mount, carbon bottle cage, and Xpedo pedals. Surprisingly it weighs 8.13kg… Which is not bad at all for a steel bike. Wow……
Photoshoot day for Red Lantern – My new Battaglin Portofino, which I bought for my 44th birthday. I built this completely Italian: frame, groupset, components, wheelset, tyres, even the inner tubes (Pirellis)! The only thing not from Italy? The saddle 😀 My Portofino is the smoothest and the most beautiful bike I have ever ridden!…
I have had an appreciation for Italian made bikes, ever since I bought my first one in 1989. So when I saw the release of the Collezione Speciale I immediately expressed my interest. My experience dealing with Alex and the rest of the team at Officina Battaglin has been fantastic. Waiting for the frame to…
“The Portofino is amazing, very comfortable and responsive. I ride it for hours, almost everyday. Owning it makes me really proud. My kids’ names engraved on the bike make it really personal for me… And the pink cromovelato color with-all black Italian components is a great combination. I love to start my day with an…
“Alex- My Officina Battaglin Power+ is my fourth steel frame, and first in over 30 years! The first thing that I noticed about the bike when I rode it on the farm roads around the workshop in Marostica was how smooth and quiet it was. I was expecting a jarring and rattling ride when hitting…
“6 months later! Here it is. A sneak peek into an absolute work of art from Officina Battaglin. Never seen such a stunning finish. Made to order. Fully custom geometry. Limited to only 40 bikes. The Power+ Evo!” … “Over 20 years on a bike and hundreds of thousands of kilometers… But today, I felt…
