Is it possible to make a steel road bike assembled with a Super Record EPS groupset completely wireless?
The answer is yes.
And in this video, we take a closer look at a custom Power+ EVO with no cables in sight.
So, here’s the story behind this bespoke creation.
Isaac, the owner, is a designer from Singapore.
He reached out to the Battaglin workshop because he was looking for a modern steel bike…
And he was impressed by the Power+ EVO’s clean lines.
First, Alex and Giovanni designed the frame geometry to Isaac’s measurements.
Then, we built the frame from scratch, using the special Columbus HSS tubes custom-made to our specifications.
We engineered these tubes to work in conjunction with the Deda DCR headset.
And that’s the Power+ EVO’s secret for hiding all the cables inside the front end when the frame is equipped with any major electronic groupset.
For the frame’s finish, Isaac chose the red cromovelato.
The painted-to-match finishing kit includes a Deda Vinci handlebar and stem, and a Deda Elementi Super Zero seat post.
For the full build, Isaac wanted to give his bike an indisputable Italian flair.
That’s why we went with a 12-speed Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset and the Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 wheels.
